  Where I can dine in Naples - affordable and good?
  Expensive and good you can dine everywhere in Naples. But cheap and excellent? You have to get insider tips. The following order doesn't matter. You can read it in ascending order or in descending order. TIP: Almost all Restaurants are open 7 days a week. But a call ahead could save you gas!
  • Monday:
    1. SPORTSPAGE - also known as Stevie Tomato's Sportspage is the Restaurant that offers "half-price" Hamburgers and beer only on Mondays. Be aware - it can be crowded. Address refer at Tuesday.
      BY THE WAY: If it's your birthday - the meal is FREE for you.
    2. GRAND BUFFET is a cheap and good Chinese Restaurant at US41 East and Bayshore. The exact address is 2700 Tamiami Trail East, Phone 732-5777. Call for Happy-Hours and avoid weekends. At the weekend the prices are higher.
    3. We discovered BUFFALO CHIPS in 2006. But not to late. It is now on top of our list of favorites. This "Restaurant" is for all Chicken Wings lovers a must. But we put the word "Restaurant" in quotation marks. It can be that you meet there "Wyatt Earp" - Live Music and Western Stile included. 20 Wings are enough for two people. But take MILD - or we take: BARBEQUE. HOT you wouldn't survive.

      SPORTSPAGE or also known as Stevie Tomato's Sportspage is a Restaurant that moved (sorry about that) from Shirley Street corner at Pine Ridge to Pebblebrooke hard south of Immokalee Road on CR-951. New Address: 15215 Collier Blvd, Naples, FL, 34119. Every Tuesday they sell Half Price Pizza.
      BY THE WAY: If it's your birthday - you are invited - the owner says: "The pizza is on me!"
    2. An insider's tip is Cracklin' Jack's. WHERE? 2560 39th St SW, Phone 774-6000. It is located in opposite of the Quality Inn Hotel on CR-951 (Collier Blvd) corner to Golden Gate Pkwy. It is a typical "Southern Pub" with great food and Live Music (not always).
    3. MEL'S-DINER is an affordable Restaurant on US41 (Tamiami Trail North). Between GOLDEN GATE and PINE RIDGE on the East side, one block before ROOMS-TO-GO. Address: 3650 Tamiami Trail North (US41), Naples, FL 34103-3720.
    4. And behind MEL´s DINER parking lot there is a German Restaurant called the Jaegerhaus, German - American - Restaurant.

    1. If you like Italian cuisine, then you have to stop by DI JULIO'S. His restaurant is on Rattlesnake, in opposite of the Golfcourse HIBISCUS.

    3. A good fish restaurant is the Bonefish Grill . A MUST is the starter BANG BANG SHRIMP , one serving is enough for two people.

    1. THE DOCKS at Gordons River. Look into the Sunday Paper. There you'll find coupons. Take advantage of Happy-Hour offers with a Coupon, that means - pay one meal - get the second one FREE.
    2. The Restaurant in the Clubhouse of Golfclub CEDAR HAMMOCK on DAVIS BLVD has an excellent Cuisine. You will enjoy it. But call for a reservation. A reservation makes it easier to get into the GATED COMMUNITY. Call: 354-2100. Happy Hour from 5-7.

    1. It's not a secret - the OUTBACK is one of the best Steakhouses in town.

    3. Cafe LUNA. Two by two we had the special offer for $ 30: 2 menus and 1 bottle of wine. The atmosphere was ok: linen tablecloths, heavy cutlery, good wine glasses and cloth napkins, white bread with butter and ice water.     4. Again AMERICAN LEGION (US41 East). Every Saturday they offer steak for about 10.00 USD. A draft beer only 1.00 USD.
      ...and after dinner you can dance.
    5. BLUE FISH at 5425 Airport Pulling Road, Naples, FL 34109. Located on Bed & Beyond Plaza, Corner to Pine Ridge Road. Call (239) 596-6688. Anyone who loves Japanese cuisine, is right here. ALL YOU CAN EAT - and not just sushi, also steaks will be prepared fresh for you.
      HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
    6. NOT A RESTAURANT (only very good for a quick bite) at Costco Wholesale, 6275 Naples Blvd, Naples, FL 34109. You don't need a COSTCO CARD! IMPORTANT: Enter far right at the 'customer service' or 'returns' entrance. And go to food kiosk. The hot dog (soft drink included) for $1.50 and try the ice cream! It's a dream!

  • Sunday:

    4. Sun Harvest Citrus. Who wants to eat delicious soft ice (eg Orange, Key Lime), should go to Sun Harvest Citrus (Citrus Processing). There you can also try free juices.
